Congratulations teams! Trophies and Bar Plaques were available for Division Winners and Runners-Up at the Fall Tier 1 Tri Cup held in January. If you weren’t there to pick up your trophies, they will either be mailed in the near future or brought to your team.
We have a correction to our September 2006 newsletter. We stated that Wolf Pack out of Richwood won $1,000 and it was The Wolf Pack out of Delaware that won the $1,000 and qualified for the City Tournament in June.
9 BALL FALL TEAM PRIZE CHECKS:
Prize fund checks were mailed to the Captains at the end of December. These checks are to be divided among all the players on your Fall team. Do not make a decision on what to do with the check without consulting the team players. The money received is a team effort and should be split accordingly. Also, players if you have not received the money from your captain yet, please call the league office.

2006 8 & 9 BALL FALL TOPGUN TOURNAMENT:
Topgun (MVP) Tournaments are held at the end of each session. They are based from the top gun reports. The top gun report reflects the wins a players get during the session (excluding playoffs). MP stands for Matches Played, MW stands for Matches Won and Topgun stands for the handicap of the player beat. We invite the top 10 players from each division via mail to the tournament. The player has a deadline in which to respond and mail in the $10 participation fee (non-refundable). The first 64 responses from skill levels 3-5 come to the tournament. These reports are out on the web site for you to follow on a weekly basis. If you ever see any discrepancies, please call the league office immediately. We do not include playoffs in the topgun report. The one we use to determine who is in the top 10 of your division is from the last week of the session.
The 8 Ball Fall Session Top gun Tournament was held January 6 at the 8 Ball Sports Bar and Billiards. 64 players pre-registered for the 3-5 slot. 64+ showed up to compete in that bracket and some players were turned away because the board was full. We do not have the information on the winners for the 3-5 skill level players or the 6-7 skill level players.
The 9 BALL TOPGUN TOURNAMENT was held December 9, 2006. We do not have the information on the winners from this tournament.
SPORTSMANSHIP AWARDS:
There were 534 compliments about teams this session. This number grows each session. The sportsmanship award goes to Scott Steven’s team, Big Racks & Hard Rails, out of the 8 Ball Sports Bar. Team players included: Co Captain, Mark Bechtel, Ed Shell, Jim Park, Clint Long, Damien Valentin, and William Santanich. This team received 8 compliments during the fall session. Way to go team! If you have a team you play and really enjoy playing them, please make a comment on the back. We log all comments, good or bad.

SPRING SESSION:
We are almost through the spring session. There are several make ups that need to be finished. Teams: please look at the division standings on the website. You may think you are in a good position in the standings, but make sure the weeks all match for each team. Any team that has less weeks played still has a make up to do. Make sure you consider these teams will get more points from the make ups.
Scoresheets:
As a reminder, scoresheets are to be filled out neatly. Please make sure the correct player number is written in for the player playing. Write in the score for each player (games won) under the score column. The W-L column is where the W/L should be written in. At the bottom of the scoresheet, the total points should equal 5 between the two teams. Make sure these match unless there is a written reason as to why they don't. If they don't match or aren't filled in at all, it is difficult for us to know what wins/losses are for each team (particularly when nothing
at the top is filled in.) The bottom left corner is to be used for the money turned in. Please document the amount you are sending and what it is for. Also, please read the information on the bottom.
SINGLES BOARDS:
Winners of singles boards run now through June 15 will play in the fall regional. You must remain on a team in the summer and fall sessions to remain qualified for the regional tournament. If anyone is interested in running a singles board, please contact the League Office.
DIVISION REPRESENTATIVES:
We would like to get a division representative to represent each division. If your scoresheet does not reflect a division rep and you are interested in becoming one, please contact the League Office.
